COVID-19 Information

Information from Simrad in relation to the COVID-19 situation.

We hope that you and your family are safe and well. This is not an easy time for any of us and much like yourselves, we're closely monitoring the impact that the coronavirus (COVID-19) is having on our communities.

The health and wellbeing of our staff and customers is important to us, and while we remain open for business, we have adapted the way we work so we can all get through this together in the best possible way.

We know that you will be adjusting to a different way of living and we're committed to providing you with as much support as possible during this period of uncertainty.

What is Simrad doing?

As a global brand, we take our responsibility seriously in helping contain the virus. And while the situation is changing constantly, we're adapting...

We continue to work closely with our customers to adjust to their local environment and specific needs.

Since the start of the outbreak, we have been actively taking measures to ensure our people are safe, and our products can still be produced and distributed. Many of our teams are also set up to work from home.

Get Support

If you need support, our expert teams are ready to assist you. We have added more trained personnel to support queries, and while longer hold times are possible at this time, we aim to avoid this where possible.

We're bolstering our KnowledgeBase and 'How-To' videos: improving existing content and adding new topics so they're even more comprehensive and helpful.

Where eCommerce is available, our website is accepting orders and our staff remain at the end of the phones for support and advice.

Get connected

It’s important that we all stay connected during times like these, especially while social distancing. Phone calls, video calls and text messaging allow us to keep chatting with friends and family. It’s great for emotional support and mental health.

Our online communities and social media channels are a great way for you to keep informed and interact with others to share ideas going through similar experiences.

The situation is changing day by day and we encourage you to monitor and follow the advice and guidance given by the WHO and your government.

We have over 70 years of history. We’ve been through crises with you before and we will do so again. While at present no-one can be certain of exactly when the situation will improve, it will improve and when it does, we will all be ready to enjoy the full freedom of being out on the water again.

Until then stay safe and healthy.
