Simrad® marine electronics has partnered with Daniamant to bring EchoPilot® Forward Looking Sonar integration to its chartplotters, expanding navigation capability across both previous generation devices and the latest NEON OS displays, including NSX®, NSS® 4, and NSO® 4.
For the first time, NEON users can access forward-looking sonar directly within their system.

Unlike traditional sonar, EchoPilot® scans ahead of the vessel, providing real-time 3D visualization of underwater terrain, and sudden depth changes. This allows boaters to react earlier and navigate with greater confidence, especially in shallow or unfamiliar waters.
